Project Summary
This is the landmark beautification project for Downtown Estacada. The scope of improvements included the undergrounding of overhead power lines and the reconstruction of the roadway and sidewalks with new amenities such as planters and street trees, banner poles, decorative streetlights, benches, and public art.
The project was developed in 2011 through a public process, which created the Estacada Downtown-Riverside Area Plan and is also identified as a key project in the 2007 Urban Renewal Plan. During the years of 2011 to 2015 the project was further refined and finally engineered and bid. The Broadway Streetscape was constructed January 2015 to July 2015.
