Mayor’s Welcome

Welcome to Estacada! We are glad you are here. You will be pleasantly surprised at all that Estacada has to offer. You can immerse yourself in trees, sky, water; summer’s greens and winter’s whites. Or you can just wander through town to discover our history in murals, explore our small shops and gallery, and stop for a local craft beer.

Estacada offers a public library, police and fire protection, local parks, and downtown shops, along with numerous recreational activities, including boating, fishing, camping, and hiking.

Estacada is a great place to call home. There is art to see, and artists to learn from; events and festivals, celebrations, and concerts. Some of our annual community events include the 4th of July Celebration, with a parade sponsored by the Downtown Estacada Commission, and a sky show sponsored by Estacada Fire District. There are also Summer Arts and Music Festivities presented by Estacada’s Arts Commission and Parks & Recreation Commission.

Estacada students may attend one of two elementary schools – Clackamas River Elementary or River Mill Elementary and then move on to Estacada Middle School (grades 6-8) and then Estacada High School. Additionally, the Estacada School District offers alternatives to the traditional system in order to ensure that important educational and social needs are provided for our children. There are also numerous youth sports associations for children beginning as early as kindergarten, and a beautiful city park which includes a picnic pavilion, sand volleyball court, children’s playground, and a 10,000 square foot skate park. The third phase of Wade Creek Park was completed in 2023, and has walking paths where you can view the creek which was restored from a man-made pond as well as a community room that may be rented for family and community events.

City staff is here to help you with making your move to the community a pleasant one. If you have any questions please contact city hall at (503) 630-8270. They will be able to help you with almost any question you may have about the area.

Any age, any time, any one will find new ways to play, unforgettable adventures, and the unexpected wonders of a small town. Breathe deeply, make memories, press “restart” on your everyday life.

Welcome to Estacada!
