Use Your Library

The front entrance of the Estacada Public Library.

Your library card gives you access to the 13 member libraries in the LINCC (Libraries in Clackamas County) network.

You can checkout items from any of these libraries and even place them on hold to get them sent to your home library!

Physical Library Cards

To get a physical library card, bring an official photo ID and proof of address to any LINCC Library Location. Residents of Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, and Hood River County Library Districts, Camas, or the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District are eligible for a free library card for use at any LINCC library. Out of district residents can get a card for an annual fee.

Online eCards

An online eCard grants immediate access to online resources, including eBooks and eAudiobooks. You may also place up to three physical items on hold, but must upgrade to a full library card (see above) to check them out. eCards are available to all residents of the LINCC Library District, age 13 and up.

Educator Cards

The Libraries in Clackamas County (LINCC) collaborate to offer educators living in Clackamas County, or teaching at a school located in LINCC’s service area access to more than one million items to check out for classroom use. To apply for an Educator card, stop by your library with your valid identification and proof of current educator status (see the FAQ for more details). More information on Educator cards can be found here.

Your library account can be accessed from the LINCC libraries website. Here you can view a list of the items you have out, place holds, and pay fines. To access your account, go to My Account and log in with your library card number and pin.
You may pay your fines at any LINCC library location. Payments of $1.00 or more can also be paid online. From the LINCC libraries website, go to My Account and log in, then click the “Fines” tab. If you owe $1.00 or more, you will be able to select/deselect which fines to pay. After selecting which fines to pay, click the “Pay fines” button.

Place a Hold Online

To place a hold while browsing the catalogue, click the “Place Hold” button for any item after performing a search.

If you are not already logged in, you will immediately see a login screen. Enter your library card number and PIN, then click the “Log In” button.

Notification of Holds Arrival

When materials you’ve placed on hold arrive at the library you are notified by phone, text, or e-mail. Notifications are sent to the phone number or e-mail address you specify on your account. To change your notification method, ask at the circulation desk.

In addition to notifying you that your hold requests are available, the e-mail service will notify you 3 days in advance of your item being due and give you a link to renew.

For your security, and to respect confidentiality, items on hold can only be picked up using the library card for whom the hold was placed. Materials are available for self-serve next to the Circulation Desk.

How to Manage Your Holds

It is possible to keep track of the items you place on hold. Access the LINCC FAQ (frequently asked questions) about holds and how to manage your library account.

Except for Library of Things, items that belong to any LINCC library can be returned at any other LINCC library. See Locations & Hours for a list of all LINCC libraries.
Items can be returned to the Estacada Public Library 24 hours/day via our external book drop.
More information can be found on the LINCC Frequently Asked Questions page.
Or call the circulation desk at (503) 630-8273.
