Homebound Delivery

Estacada Public Library’s Library-to-Your-Door program offers homebound people the opportunity to receive library materials delivered once a month by library volunteers.

Prospective patrons complete an application which asks them about the kinds of materials they would like to receive and to specify their favorite genres, authors, movies, or music. Library staff will select materials based on these stated preferences. Once a month, volunteers will deliver the materials and pick up previous deliveries.

To be eligible for this service, you must live in the Estacada or Eagle Creek area. We reserve the right to determine if a patron lives too far outside the delivery area. You must be unable to come to the library due to a permanent condition, or a temporary condition that will last for 6 weeks or more. For example, someone no longer able to drive, with limited mobility or with an injury such as a broken leg that prevents them from visiting the library in person, would be eligible for the service. You can remain in this program for as long as you need to be.

To apply for Library-to-Your-Door, there are a few options:

  • A friend or family member can pick up an application at the library.
  • You can print out a copy of the application form, available below.
  • Or call the program coordinator at (503) 630-8273.
