Help us keep the parade route safe and fun! The Downtown Estacada Commission (DEC) is seeking volunteers to “Adopt an Intersection” along the 4th of July Parade route. This is a simple, yet important way to help ensure the safety of parade participants and spectators.
How Can You Help?
It’s easy! If you usually watch the parade from an intersection along the route, consider being a volunteer at that very spot.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Time Commitment: Just a short time before and after the parade.
- Arrival Time: 9:00 AM on July 4th.
- Duties: Move the barricade and cones from the corner into the intersection to block traffic by 9:00 AM. After the last parade entry passes your intersection, move the barricade and cones back to the corner.
- Provided: Safety vest.
