Background
Councilor Dolezal and his family moved to Estacada in 2016. They have lived in five States and each child was born in a different State. Two of their adult children currently live in Texas and the 3rd is stationed in Germany with the Air Force. The family chose to move back to Oregon to be around family and friends.
The Family history in Oregon dates back to the 1840’s, primarily in Portland’s eastside. The Dolezal’s specifically chose Estacada when they moved back to Oregon for it’s beauty, serenity, and livability.
Jon is in his 14th year working with Hospice. Prior to that he worked 20 years in pharmaceuticals and five years in telcom.
Jon joined the Traffic and Public Safety Committee at it’s inception and things have progressed from there to appointments and time spent on other committees and groups.
Goals as They Relate to Position
Councilor Dolezal would like to see continued growth while preserving the beauty and sense of community as it exists today. He would like to see continued progress on community spaces, recreation areas, and athletic fields.
