Free Seeds for Library Users!
The Estacada Public Library maintains a seed library which provides access to free garden seeds for library users. The selection of seeds varies and cannot be guaranteed.
How it Works:
- Visit the library to choose your seeds! Patrons may check out up to 6 varieties per day.
- Remember one seed = one plant; take only what you’ll plant so there are enough seeds for your neighbors.
- Grow your seeds and enjoy the harvest!
- Save seeds from your best plants to donate back to the Seed Library. Unsure how? Check out a library book, visit Seeds for Sharing Facebook page or Adaptive Seeds’ Seed Saving Guide Archives.
- Use our Seed Check-In Form to save time when donating your seeds!
This program is open to anyone eligible for a LINCC library card (residents of Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, and Hood River County Library Districts in Oregon; and Camas, or the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District in Washington). While it is preferred, no LINCC library card number is required. Seeds available while supplies last.
