Project Summary
The renovation project funded by the URA Grant focused on key interior and exterior upgrades to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and structural integrity. The work included removing 4,500 sq. ft. of glue-down carpet, prepping the slab, and installing a durable dark gray epoxy floor. Bathroom updates involved replacing the toilet and lavatory, prepping the slab for epoxy, and painting the walls. Security enhancements included installing an electronic keyless door lock system with a touch screen, key FOBs, and a backup key system. Cracks were repaired throughout the interior and exterior using Silka Flex sealant and primer. Awning and stucco repairs addressed leaks and water intrusion from the scupper box, while perimeter flashing was also fixed. Damaged soffit sections were replaced with like materials and primed for durability.
These improvements addressed critical structural issues, enhanced the building's utility, and ensured a safe and appealing environment.
