The City of Estacada, in partnership with Todos Juntos, Estacada Fire District, and the Estacada Youth Prevention Coalition, hosted a successful Summer Safety Fest & Bike Rodeo on May 3, 2026, at Wade Creek Park and the Estacada Library.
The event brought together a large number of community members for an afternoon focused on safety education, preparedness, and family-friendly activities. With warm temperatures throughout the day, the park’s splash pad was a popular feature, offering a fun way for families to stay cool while enjoying the event.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with approximately 20 vendors providing information and resources related to injury prevention, summer safety, and emergency preparedness, including wildfire awareness. The event also featured a food vendor, ice cream, and a visit from the Estacada Bookmobile.
Estacada Fire District and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office brought emergency vehicles and equipment for display. Community members were able to engage directly with first responders and learn more about the services they provide.
The Summer Safety Fest & Bike Rodeo supports several key goals, including increasing awareness of summer-related safety risks, helping residents prepare for natural hazards, connecting the community with local resources, and gathering input to better understand community needs.
