Downtown Estacada Commission Vacancy

The City of Estacada is accepting applications from persons interested in serving on the Downtown Estacada Commission.

The Downtown Estacada Commission vacancy may be filled by a resident, business owner-operator, and/or property owners in/of the city. The vacancy may also be filled by a resident within the Estacada School District No. 108 boundaries.

This vacancy is to fill a vacated seat and will expire 3/31/2025.

The DEC implements the Main Street Program, which is both a state and national program that the commission is designated to. This program supports the revitalization of a city’s downtown district, preserving its history and fostering a welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.

Relevant Background and Experience(Required)

The Main Street 4 Point Approach includes: (1) Organization/Outreach, (2) Economic Vitality, (3) Promotion, and (4) Design.

What experience do you have regarding these responsibilities and/or how do you hope to contribute?(Required)

The DEC is a working board. Responsibilities include planning and executing programs, as well as recruiting and organizing volunteers (see Estacada Municipal Code 2.32.010).
