In addition to the Red Fox Motel, Wonser Woods Estate, and a few AirBnB-style options currently in existence, the City is working to develop and grow a network of area lodging opportunities. These could include bed and breakfasts, improved RV or camping sites on private property, or short-term rentals of residential homes. Host properties will be vetted by representatives of the City, providing guests added assurance they will have a positive experience while enjoying Estacada and the surrounding area.
In the long term, the network will demonstrate the need and demand for more traditional overnight lodging for area visitors enjoying the Clackamas River and this side of the Mount Hood National Forest, and encourage lodging development. In the short term, the network will accommodate the increasing demand for overnight lodging in and around Estacada as regional and national visitors discover all that the area has to offer.
As properties and hosts are added to the network, they will be displayed here. Come back again. We expect to have several participants by Summer 2018.
This network is made possible through generous grant funding by Clackamas County’s Tourism Department, which brands itself as Oregon’s Mount Hood Territory.
