2nd Annual Civics Academy!
The City of Estacada is hosting the 2nd annual Civics Academy this winter. The program is designed to give members of the community an inside look at local government’s structure, projects, and processes. The first cohort will meet once a week for six weeks each Thursday from 6-8 pm beginning on January 15th. Each meeting will have a different topic and an opportunity to meet different members of local government. The culmination of this series will be a greater understanding of government operations and opportunities to get involved. The city hopes that this series helps residents to feel more connected and involved in their community.
We ask that all applicants be able to dedicate the time to attend a minimum of five of the six meetings.
The deadline to apply is December 16th.

January 15th – Local Government 101
January 22nd – Economic Development
January 29th – Land Use Development
February 5th – Public Safety
February 12th – Public Works & Public Spaces
February 19th – Engagement & Involvement
