Street Closure Alert for December 6th!
Tree Lighting Celebration: S Broadway St between SE 4th and SE 3rd Ave will be closed to traffic and open for walking only on the evening of December 6th for our annual Tree Lighting.
Closure Time: From 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Walking Only: S Broadway Street between SE 4th & SE 3rd.
Partial Closure: SE 3rd Ave also impacted.
Come early for a festive evening during First Friday! While the Tree Lighting ceremony will take place at 6:00 PM, vendors and local shops will open at 5:00 PM for you to enjoy shopping, food, and drinks before the big event. Meet Santa and get a photo with him (City Hall – after lighting), shop local at downtown stores and vendor booths, and warm up with cider, hot cocoa, and other treats at participating shops, many of which will be staying open a bit later for the event. Whether you're here for the tree lighting, shopping, or just soaking in the festive atmosphere, we hope to see you there! It’s a wonderful chance to experience our community’s holiday spirit.
