City Parks

Operation and maintenance of the city park system is a function of the Public Works Department. The city maintains four separate park locations (Wade Creek City Park at 747 NW Wade St, Cazadero Heights Neighborhood Park, Portal at 805 NW Evergreen Way, Foothills Neighborhood Greenway) comprise a total of approximately 9 acres. Existing restroom facilities, shelters and playground equipment are cleaned and maintained as needed, while grounds maintenance and mowing is performed regularly throughout the peak months. State Revenue Sharing helps fund this activity with the balance coming from the General Fund.

Wade Creek City Park
Wade Creek Park Wade Creek City Park is located at 7th Avenue and Wade Street next to the public library. Wade Creek Park is approximately 1 acre in size. It has covered and uncovered picnicking areas, play structures for various ages, a water fountain and two restrooms.
 
Cazadero Heights Neighborhood Park
Cazadero Heights Park Cazadero Heights Neighborhood Park is located in the center of the Cazadero Heights neighborhood. Cazadero Heights Park is approximately 1 acre in size. It has a large green space, some palyground equipment and a small sport court.
