Estacada Downtown and Riverside Area Plan
The time has come to take a careful look at Estacada’s core downtown and the riverside area. The city and our community deserve a vibrant downtown that encourages and sustains business and enhances pedestrian accessibility. Thoughtful attention also needs to be devoted to the land use opportunities that exist along the banks of the beautiful Clackamas River. Our goal is to explore the community's vision for the area's future and hear your ideas about how to realize that vision.

A few of the goals are…
  1. Create a detailed Downtown Plan that supports redevelopment and the promotion of a vibrant, mixed land use, multi-modal and economically successful downtown.
  2. Identify ways in which to capitalize on the natural features (i.e.: the riverfront area), and properties within the Study Area that are appropriate for in-fill, development, redevelopment and aesthetic improvements to existing structures.
  3. Improve access for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists within and to the downtown, and add connectivity between the riverfront and downtown.
