Chapter 16.132 ADMINISTRATION
16.132.015 Review of applications.
The review of applications under this title shall be subject to one of the
following procedures:
A. The public hearing process as defined and outlined
in Chapter 16.132.
B. The legislative actions process as outlined in Chapter
16.132.
C. The planning staff review process outlined below:
1. The
applicant shall submit an application and supplementary materials, as required
in this chapter, to the planning department;
2. The application shall be
reviewed by appropriate staff members who shall approve, deny, or approve with
conditions, the application on the basis of an evaluation of the proposal and
the requirements and standards set forth in this title;
3. The city planner,
or designee, shall notify the applicant in writing of the
decision;
4. Decisions of the city planner, or designee, made under this
procedure may be appealed to the planning commission. An appeal shall be
processed according to the provisions in Section 16.132.050. An appeal stays the
proceedings in the matter appealed until the determination of the appeal by the
