Meters shall be placed at the right-of-way line nearest the property to be served for the standard connection fee, provided the distance from the main to the meter location does not exceed thirty (30) feet. If the distance exceeds thirty (30) feet, the applicant shall pay the additional cost of the line on the basis of actual cost to the city for labor, materials and equipment. (Prior code § 3.265)
