Any customer desiring to terminate water service shall notify the superintendent in writing at least two days prior to the date the customer desires the service to terminate. Notice shall specify the date service is to be discontinued. At the time specified by the customer for discontinuance of service, the meter shall be read and a bill rendered which is payable immediately. In no case shall the bill be less than the proportionate share of the monthly minimum specified in the water rate schedule applying to the size and class of service furnished. (Prior code § 3.125)
