Before making any sidewalk repairs, the landowner responsible therefore shall apply to the recorder for a permit to make repairs. The permit shall describe the location of the sidewalk to be repaired, a description of the property abutting such sidewalks, the name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, the type or kind of repairs to be made, the material to be used in making the repairs, and a time limit in which the repairs are to be completed, not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date of such permit. No charge shall be made for the issuance of such permit. (Prior code § 2.383)
