A. When this chapter or state law provides for impounding a vehicle, the city may cause such vehicle to be towed and impounded until redeemed or sold.

B. The method of impoundment, appraisal, establishing a lien for towing charges, providing for post-removal notice and hearing, redemption, and sale of the vehicle shall be as provided in ORS 819.100 through ORS 819.260, or as hereafter amended, concerning abandoned vehicles. (Prior code § 6.265)
