A person who has been denied a security patrol service license or a security patrol service employee permit, or who has had a license or permit suspended or revoked, may appeal such action to the city council. The appeal shall be made in writing and shall be presented to the city administrator within fifteen (15) days of the date of receipt of notice of the action appealed from. If such appeal is timely filed, the city council shall hold a public hearing on the appeal within forty-five (45) days from the date of filing of the notice of appeal. The council may affirm, reverse or modify the action of the city administrator. (Prior code § 8.335)
