Chapter 2.32 SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY BOARD
2.32.010 Composition--Terms--Function.
A. The Estacada senior center advisory board shall consist of five
members. Four members shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the
council. At least three of the members shall be sixty (60) years of age or
older, and at least three of the members shall be residents of the city. The
final member of the board will be selected from Loaves & Fishes,
Inc.
B. The senior center advisory board shall act in an advisory capacity
to Loaves & Fishes in their management of the Estacada Senior Center, and to
the city.
C. The board will hold monthly meetings at the senior center. It
will review operations and procedures about the center. At these open meetings,
the board will review concerns, and if it finds them valid, refer the concerns
to Loaves & Fishes.
D. Also at the monthly meeting the board will read
and discuss responses provided by Loaves & Fishes to previous
concerns.
E. The term of office for the board members will be two years,
terminable at the pleasure of the mayor and city council.
F. Bylaws for the
board are to be approved by the city council. (Prior code § 1.891)
