Public transportation--accessible bus fleet with bike racks.

WHEN?
SAM
between Sandy & Gresham runs on an hourly schedule, with half-hourly service during peak commute times.

SAM between Sandy & Estacada runs five times on weekdays.

WHERE?
Express bus between Sandy and Gresham Transit Center on Kelly Street along Hwy 26 with many stops in Sandy. To see a detailed map of the east end of the SAM route, click here.  Express service between Sandy and  Estacada operates Monday through Friday as well.

SO WHAT IS STAR?
Sandy´s STAR is the "around town" ride.

Curb-to-curb route weekdays from 5:30 to 8:30am & 5:30 to 8:30pm M-F; Door-to-door demand-response service all other times.  Call for a reservation two weeks to 24 hours prior (subject to availability, within 24 hours).

Travel anywhere within 1/4 mile of the Sandy City Limits; extended area for elderly or people with disabilities (call 503-668-5569 for more information).

The fare is $.50 each way per adult; children under 8 traveling with an adult ride free; Honored Customers ride free (over 60 years, low-income, ADA eligible).

STAR is demand-response on Saturdays between 10:30am to 4:30pm.

Schedules are available at Sandy City Hall, Sandy Library, Sandy Community Center, and on the bus.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RIDE SAM?
Both the SAM I route between Sandy and Gresham and the SAM II bus between Sandy and Estacada are FARELESS.
