ESTACADA BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

ESTACADA CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TUESDAY, MAY 17, 2005 – 6:30 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

Present: Aaron Gant, Alan Rademacher, Kay Nelson, Richard Hartwig, Bob Austin, Donn Christiansen, Marli Stauffacher, Amy James, Ben Erickson, CM Randy Ealy, CR Denise Carey.

Absent: Pam Butcher, Michele Conditt, Becky Arnold, Robert Morrisey, Gary Lewis.

SELECTION OF CHAIR, VICE-CHAIR AND SECRETARY

Richard Hartwig nominated Bob Austin chair. Kay Nelson seconded the nomination. Bob Austin declined the nomination because he feels the chair should be a citizen member.

Bob Austin nominated Amy James as chair. Marli Stauffacher seconded the nomination.

Alan Rademacher nominated Donn Christiansen. Kay Nelson seconded the nomination.

Amy James – 5 votes

Donn Christianson – 4 votes

Amy James was elected chair and Donn Christianson was elected vice chair/secretary.

REVIEW 2004-05 REVENUES & EXPENDITURES TO DATE

CM Ealy reviewed the revenue and expenditure report as of May 17, 2005. He explained the funds and what each contains.

PRESENTATION OF BUDGET MESSAGE

CM showed the committee on maps where proposed development and annexations are scheduled to occur over the next few years.

CM Ealy explained the budget layout and then read the budget message. He also reviewed the charts and graphs included in the budget.

CITIZEN INPUT AND COMMENTS

No citizen input.

ANNOUNCE DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The committee discussed the next meeting date. June 1^st at 6:30 will be the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
