PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUATION
Mayor Austin opened the public hearing. CP McCallister stated that staff met with the
applicant and Mr. Mullins and options had been discussed.
Ken Diener, representing the applicant, stated that
after a 90-minute meeting, it was decided to stay with the original plan but to
reduce the street right-of-way from 60’ to 50’ to match up with the other
subdivisions in the area.
John Mullins, 701 SE 4th, appreciated the
opportunity to talk to the applicant and feels the city should require this as
part of the criteria for a subdivision application. He likes the revised proposal and can make it
work for him.
There were no further comments so the Mayor closed
the public hearing.
Cr. Nelson moved to approve subdivision application
2005-2 – Straightline Estates with all conditions and with the new map
requiring the street right-of-way to be 50’.
Cr. Hartwig seconded the motion.
