The group reviewed the grant draft and decided to approach
major business owners to seek letters of support for matching funds. The City
is pledging $5,000 in-kind and $5,000 in matching funds. We are seeking
$5,000 in matching funds from businesses and $5,000 from local utilities. The
funds will need to be pledged over the two year period of the grant and may
be in-kind or in cash. In-kind donations would need to be an offset of
infrastructure costs (office space, phone costs, computer, printing etc.) or
directly related to an approved PRIDE project. Also Randy is requesting a
letter of support from the Chamber's board. We will try to get as many
pledges as possible by next week. |
