CONVENE MEETING
Mayor Austin called the workshop to order at 6:00 pm.
Present: Cr. Marli Stauffacher, Cr. Cliff Atkinson, Cr. Michele Cheshier, Cr. Becky Arnold, Cr. Cliff Gavic, Cr. Ben Erickson, Mayor Bob Austin, CM Randy Ealy, CR Denise Carey, CA Andrew Cole.
PUBLIC MEETING
LAWS/EXECUTIVE SESSIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS/ATTORNEY- COUNCIL RELATIONSHIP – Andrew Cole
CA Cole reviewed his role as the city attorney, ethics, public meeting laws, ex-parte contact, conflicts of interest, and executive sessions.
BUDGET – City Manager Randy
Ealy
Library funding – Beth McKinnon – Library Director
McKinnon reviewed the organization of the library and how the library is
funded.
The workshop was closed at 7:00 pm to conduct the council meeting and
public hearing. The workshop was
reopened at 8:10 pm.
CM
gave a presentation on the budget and how projects are chosen and budgeted.
COMP PLAN/MUNICIPAL
CODE/MASTER PLANS – CM Ealy
CM distributed the comp plan, code book and councilor handbooks to the new councilors. He reviewed the contents of the handbook.
