CITY OF ESTACADA BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

ESTACADA CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBERS

475 SE MAIN STREET, ESTACADA, OREGON

TUESDAY, MAY 13, 2003 – 6:30 PM

 

 

CALL TO ORDER BY PRESIDING OFFICER                                            

 

Mayor Austin called the meeting to order.

 

Present:  Robert Austin, Becky Arnold, Ben Erickson, Cliff Atkinson, Marli Stauffacher, Sandra Pense, Kay Nelson, Pam Butcher, Susan Campbell, CM Randy Ealy, CR Denise Carey, Librarian Beth McKinnon.

 

Absent:  Michele Cheshier, Cliff Gavic, Jackie Freeborn, Dave Keebler, Brent Dodrill.

 

SELECTION OF CHAIR, VICE-CHAIR AND SECRETARY 

 

Becky Arnold nominated Pam Butcher for chair.  After no further nominations, Pam Butcher was selected chair unanimously.

 

Pam Butcher nominated Cliff Atkinson as vice-chair/secretary.  After no further nominations, Cliff Atkinson was selected vice-chair/secretary unanimously.

 

PRESENTATION OF BUDGET MESSAGE – Budget Officer Ealy

 

BO Ealy reviewed the breakdown of property taxes.  He then read the budget message. 

 

Kay Nelson stated that she could not make the next meeting if it was May 27th as scheduled.  Other members stated that they had changed their schedule to make the May 27th meeting and would not be available later in the week.  Staff will take a poll of members but the meeting will remain on May 27, 2003 unless everyone is notified by staff.
