The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am.

3.         APPROVAL OF THE MARCH 7, 2003 MINUTES

Consensus was to approve the minutes as presented.

4.         NEW BUSINESS

Jerry is working on transferring the title on the new trailer.  He is trying to get an "E" plate.  Traci will talk to Skip at State Farm once the title is transferred.  Traci is also checking with the City of Estacada Public Works to see if we can store the trailer at the City Shops.  Public Works said they are getting a little crowded but Bill thought there would probably be room.  Traci will report back.  In the meantime Jerry is storing the trailer at his house and has the tong locked.  He also tries to keep a vehicle parked in front of it.

Jerry discussed getting our maps copied through a blueprint company.  He took all of our maps in and they said they would make two copies for us and they kept a copy for them.  Now we have backup copies of our maps.  Jerry will put them in a tube.  Bob offered to store them at his house so they are at a remote location.

Jerry stated that we are probably going to be given a brand new steel tree saw.  Jerry's father has offered to purchase one for us through a connection he has to get it at cost.  Jerry has suggested that his father get others to go in on it so it's not so expensive for one person.  Bob said that we can't say no to such a kind gesture, but he suggested that Jerry's dad keep it and just let us borrow it as we need it.

5.         OLD BUSINESS

Jerry distributed a copy of the new price sheet that was approved at the last board meeting.  He also sent a letter to the local funeral homes with our new price sheets and explained our reasons for raising the rates.

Jerry stated that we have a lot of correspondence that comes in with old contact information on it.  He suggested that we start changing the contact info as they come in.

Jerry asked if we are interested in creating baby graves or cremation graves in some of the places where we do not have enough room for full size burials.  If we are interested in it Jerry will pursue it when he has time. Consensus was for Jerry to pursue this to get the most our of our ground space.

It was recommended that Jerry put the letter he wrote to the local funeral homes in the local paper as an announcement.

6.         PUBLIC INPUT

            There was none.

7.         ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:30 am.
