The meeting was called to

The copy of last month
meeting minutes were read and approved with no corrections.
On June 17th at
City Hall, the Cultural Forum will take place at 7 pm. Jane will contact the Philip Foster Farm, MJ
Cody, and Cada Corner. Jami will email
all artists. It was agreed more would
be discussed about details over the phone later.
Jami
read Cheryl Snow’s email regarding the Grant Writing Workshop that will be held
June 26th, from 7 – 9 pm at City Hall. Jami agreed to email artists, etc., and make sure it was in the
CCN.
The next
planning meeting will be June 11th at Barbara Mattson’s house at
6:30 pm. Jane spoke with Brent Dodrill
regarding the gospel groups for Sunday a.m.
and learned he was unable to find a group from a Portland church that
could come out, though there are several individuals and ensembles who will be
performing. Mimi stated she had a
friend in Portland who is part of a gospel group and would contact him.
January
31, 2005, is the official centennial, not 2004, which is commonly and
mistakenly considered the date. After a discussion about which year to have the
mural painted for this event and it was decided to wait until 2004 to begin
planning for a mural to be painted in the summer of 2005.
A
suggestion was made that since the basket raffles were so successful we have
one at each event next year. Another
suggestion was not to have a “May” event, but to keep them more in the winter
months. We also thought that “Spring”
should be taken out of the title. There
was a brief discussion about having a film festival in the new auditorium, but
it was decided to wait until after the Summer Celebration to make those
decisions.
It was
decided our goal was to utilize more of Cheryl Snow’s mentoring through the
Clackamas County Arts Action Alliance..
The
meeting was adjourned at 8:05 pm.
Respectfully
submitted,
Jami
Berry, Secretary
