Attending: Katinka, Ellen Radcliffe, Gloria Polzin, Norma Piper, Jenny Joyce, Nina Bradford, Brent Lawrence

Call to order 7:15 pm

As both Emily Orlando and Jenny Joyce's terms expire in June, it was moved and seconded and unanimously voted that Gloria Polzin would replace Emily, and Norma Piper would replace Jenny. Applications from the 2 new appointees need to be filled out and given to City Hall for approval by the City Council.

Kelly Roberts of the Community Center sent word via Katinka that she is extremely willing to help with any and all viable projects we see as being held in the Center. She understands about movable walls and is working out the logistics of using them in a show.  She is very excited about having an art show and perhaps a rotating monthly artist showcase in the Center.

Katinka attended the Governor's Task Force luncheon and described the Eac's efforts and successes to the group, including county commissioner Michael Jordan. Emphasis on community cooperation and partnering.  Our achievements were met with a great nodding of heads and approval.  We rock!

Clackamas Literary review was well attended- 40 people, apparently all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Chatauqua event on 5/20. Ellen will make flyers and distribute

publicity. Katinka will have Adam distribute.  Ellen and Katinka will update business cards to reflect new members, and old members!

After our extremely successful brainstorming meeting with Cheryl Snow of the Clackamas County Arts Action Alliance, we decided to review Chapter 2.16 of the Estacada City Code regarding responsibilities of the Arts Commission. We recognized that we are indeed living up to the code.  Revisiting this document will help us find new and better ways to fulfill our mission. Our next meeting with Cheryl is Wednesday May 30 at Brent's. Thank you so much Cheryl! and Brent, for your wonderful hospitality!
